This document is to be delivered to all employees, persons concerned, customers, clients and all people who are interested in our company.

We Taihei Group (Taihei Kogyo Co., Ltd., JACKS Head Office, JACKS Tokyo Office, Soni Sangyo Co., Ltd.) have respected our "Principles" till now and contributed to the society in the field of oral hygiene through offering worthy products to consumers.
We will continue our effort to raise happiness of our fellowship even more.

We raise customer satisfaction. We carry out our responsibility not only for organizational profits but also for environmental safeguard as public interests.
We have determined to carry out our responsibility of responding to trust from our fellowships and persons concerned. However, it is not easy to carry out such responsibilities. It is not a level that we can easily reach. However, we will never give up and pursue this.
Therefore we utilize the management system.

We have already introduces an environmental management system. Top Management itself participates and promotes "continuous system improvement" so that the PDCA cycle functions effectively and our environmental management system keeps being appropriate, valid and effective.
And we aim at developing it to CSR management system by improving present environmental management system continuously while utilizing description mentioned in ISO26000 of CSR (social responsibility of organization).

By the way, the words "never betraying the trust" include obeying environment-related laws and regulations and the particular items that our company extracted from opinions and comments from people concerned and agreed. Moreover, we incorporate it as part of our environmental management system so that the risk of environmental pollution can be reduced beforehand. Therefore, we promise to grow ourselves to a company that allows each employee to consistently improve their ability and contributes to surroundings, appreciate contribution from surroundings, achieve proud results, increase satisfaction and happiness of outsiders who related to the firm and contribute to the society.

By the way, let's see our main business. Various influences are seen at the stages of product manufacturing of toothbrush or interdental brush, packaging of goods, transportation / sale of goods and disposal of goods eventually. In particular, since anyone uses toothbrush every day, a large quantity of waste are incinerate and greenhouse gas such as carbon dioxide is generated.
Japanese Government is appealing that it will reduce greenhouse effect gas by 15% at the summit and even by 80% by 2050. Our company is spreading the device for prevention of global warming-up (90% cut of greenhouse gas) in our main business, aiming at forming the society with sustainability.
Therefore, all of our employees and persons concerned will adopt new ideas and devices for all daily business of each. Moreover, from the viewpoint of greenhouse gas reduction, we will develop and produce and sell eco-goods and develop the market share so as to contribute to the prevention of global warming in the entire society.

As one of the results, we are very happy to commercialize "Cat's Paw Toothbrush" by which we can anticipate 70 percent cut of greenhouse gas comparing with the conventional goods (July, 2009). Let's make efforts to expand the market share of this item. Let's raise it to the figure that is same as that of our market share. In other words, 35,000,000 pcs/yr is our present goal. This is to be achieved not only by sales staff but also by actions taken by the entire company such as cost down, delivery time shortening, publicity work. Being aware of the above, we will develop products considering environmental safeguard sufficiently by spreading the environmental management system in daily work of all departments.

Further, in order to balance environmental preservation with oral hygiene by having more people use such oral eco goods, we will achieve the medium and long term plans "MP30" and "MP50" and aim at "sales amount of 10,000,000,000 yen". Moreover, all employees from sales to manufacturing will carry out the social responsibilities as an organization with a smile full of understanding and confidence. With this item as a successful example, we promote "global warming preventive measures" in other goods. Furthermore, we will work on with full participation of employees of course, obtaining support from clients and people concerned aiming at 90 percent reduction of greenhouse gas generated in packaging itself, manufacturing process and transportation.
As a method for the above actions, we ll full utilize "resource saving / energy saving", "green purchase", "carbon offset", "emission trading" and "life cycle analysis".

In particular, we will make continuous efforts to have more fans of our products by indicating concrete numbers for our environment-conscious goods, referring to the Type Ⅱ Environmental Label (ISO14021). As a matter of course, our company will not betray trust from customers. We need to grasp voice (needs) from customers to meet expectation. We will incorporate a structure in our management system for it. As for the future property of the company, naming it "Green New Deal of Our Company", we are going to promote photovoltaic power generation equipment on the company building, conversion to eco car and eco-delivery system. As things mentioned above, in order to become the "environmental leader company", we will continue maintenance / improvement of workshop environment and working condition so that all the members can engage in daily work cheerfully so as to carry out and realize description of this environmental policy.
